Core Job Search 18 March, 2022

The type of environment a job provides will be a crucial factor in your job hunt. This is especially true if you have any type of physical or mental health issues that require a certain type of environment. Many people find loud workplaces bad for conditions such as migraines, headaches, anxiety, or sensory processing issues. If this is true for you, you will want to find a job that provides a quiet, peaceful work environment. Let's look at 3 jobs that provide that.

Bookstores

Bookstores are often much quieter than average retail spaces. Getting hired at a bookstore is relatively easy as there is often no requirement of prior experience or specific education requirements. Working in a bookstore also provides the chance to move up into better positions, such as management.

Banks

Banks provide a quiet workspace. There are many different types of jobs available within a bank. If you are looking for an entry-level position that does not require much experience or prior education, you can apply to be a bank teller. If you already have training in finance, you can apply to be a loan officer or a bank manager.

Libraries

Similar to bookstores, libraries provide a great place to work that is both quiet and peaceful. Although librarians are often required to have a master's degree, most of the employees within a library do not. Librarian assistants can easily get hired with no prior experience or educational requirements. You can work your way up to becoming a librarian if you wish to continue your education while working as an assistant.
